What is Retro Regatta?
The Father's Day Retro Regatta is a family-focused outdoor event where fathers and children race remote controlled boats. It's a joyful celebration of fatherhood and community, with music, vendors, games, and a vintage vibe.
How much does it cost?
Registration is per person { 1 adult + 1 child} and includes:
- Race entry
- Participation medals
- Raffle entry
- Full-day access to activities

Who can participate?
Any father, father figure, or male guardian can register with a child under 18. We welcome all pairings: dads, uncles, mentors, grandfathers, godfathers-everyone!
Fathers can also pair up with their grown kids.
What age groups can race?
We offer different race categories by age:
Pairing are by father and son but if numbers allow we will have the following age groups.
- Lil' Wave Racers [ 5-8 years}
- Junior Cruisers {9-13 years}
- Speed Splashers {14-17 years}
- Legacy Captains [all ages, mixed pair}
- Open Boat Bash {free-style run}
Do I need my own RC boat?
Yes! We do not provide RC boats. Participants should bring their own boats. It must:
- Be electric only
- Be under 24" long
What if my child is very shy or nervous?
Totally fine! For Lil' Waves Racers, we allow assisted racing. Our volunteers and staff are trained to help your little one have a smooth and fun experience.
Can moms, siblings, or other family come?
Absolutely! The Regatta is for the whole family. Spectators can cheer, enjoy the carnival, grab delicious food, shop vendor stalls, or dance to vintage beats on the lawn.
What else is happening besides the races?
So much! We've got;
- A mini vintage carnival.
- Food trucks & drinks
- Local vendor marketplace
- Music, lawn games, giveaways, and family dance hour.
- Volunteer opportunities and prize drawings

Where do i park?
Designated parking will be available near the Duck Pond. Parking volunteers will guide you. Early arrival is recommended!
